Contradictions of Pseudo-Enlightenment: A Reading of Moral and Psychological Consequences

Whoever contemplates the propositions of those who present themselves as knights of Enlightenment finds a strange phenomenon; their moral standards are disturbed to the point of an inversion of the fitrah (innate human nature). While some of them promote practices that degrade human dignity under the guise of personal freedom, we see them attacking disciplined legislation—such as polygyny—describing it as lustful, in a strange logical paradox.
We have observed cases who openly accepted cuckoldry and vice within their private circles, even wishing to practice them if circumstances permitted, while simultaneously appointing themselves guardians of morality to critique modesty and concealment. This schizophrenia is not merely a viewpoint, but a reflection of a deep existential and psychological crisis.
Psychological and Methodological Consequences
The tragic end of some of these individuals by suicide, which their followers sometimes justify as a defect in brain chemistry, cannot be separated from the spiritual vacuum and value-based disorder experienced by the atheist. When atheism clashes with human fitrah, it creates cracks in the individual's psychological structure, making the enlightenment claims they carry a mere cover for internal fragility.
In conclusion, Muslim youth must be wary of these models that present poison in honey; true enlightenment is that which elevates the status of man through servitude to Allah, not that which plunges him into the depths of dissolution and disorder.
