From «Takween» to «Mujtama»: Monitoring the Trajectories of Distorting Religious Constants

On the fourth of last May, the intellectual arena witnessed the announcement of the Takween center, as the first direct public attempt aimed at destabilizing the constants of Islam. Although this entity retreated in the face of public awareness and counter-intellectual campaigns, the attempts did not cease; rather, they reproduced themselves through new facades, including the so-called Mujtama channel, which began promoting its agenda through intensive advertising campaigns.

Pillars of the New Distortive Discourse

The messages promoted by this project center around several dangerous pillars aimed at demolishing the cognitive and legislative structure of the religion, most notably:

• Denying the legislative value of the Prophetic Sunnah and attempting to isolate it from the Islamic system.

• Subjecting the Quranic text to arbitrary linguistic interpretations that hollow out acts of worship of their substance, such as transforming prayer from a ritual with a specific form into a mere general supplication.

• Promoting the umbrella of the so-called Abrahamic Religion, which seeks to fuse religions into a single mold under claims of peace and equality, while in reality, it is a hybrid mixture lacking the foundations of Islam.

The Scheme and the Agenda Beyond Names

What we are witnessing today is the execution of a scheme for which massive budgets have been allocated, aiming to lead people into a state of religious disorientation, where Islam becomes a mere appearance without essence. This aligns with Prophetic warnings about times when knowledge will vanish until it is not known what prayer or fasting is.

The religious and intellectual duty necessitates our total vigilance; names may change and faces may shift, but the agenda remains constant in its targeting of the foundations of the faith. The public awareness that succeeded in exposing the falsehood of previous projects is what is capable today of toppling these new attempts through scientific clarification and methodical refutation.
