The Incoherence of Evolutionary Theory: Between Genomic Facts and Fossil Record Gaps

Scientifically prosecuting the proponents of evolutionary theory today has become possible with absolute certainty, for two fundamental reasons that expose the falsehood of claims marketed as absolute facts.

First: The Genetic Challenge and Modern Technology

Today we have reached the pinnacle of scientific technology by reading the complete genomes of humans, chimpanzees, and gorillas, and we possess amazing tools such as CRISPR technology, which allows for the cutting and pasting of genetic segments with extreme precision. If it were merely a matter of accumulating genetic information that transforms one creature into another, let the proponents of evolution proceed to transform a gorilla embryo into a human embryo by modifying those codes. The inability to do so proves that the differences are not merely accumulated genetic texts but a precise design.

Second: Discontinuity of the Fossil Record

From a paleontological perspective, there is not a single transitional fossil, by scientific consensus, that can be definitively identified as the ancestor of modern humans. Even the paleontologist Bernard Wood stated in the journal Nature that the relationship between discovered fossils and the human ancestor remains a matter of great dispute.

Human fossils are separated from Australopithecine fossils by a gap completely devoid of fossils.

This was confirmed by Ernst Mayr in his book (What Makes Biology Unique), proving that man appeared suddenly—a truth that some attempt to obscure.

Inference from the Holy Qur’an

Some resort to interpreting verses to align with the theory, overlooking the words of the Almighty:

Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, 'Be,' and he was.

The point of evidence here is that Jesus, peace be upon him, came without a father; if Adam had a father and a mother from previous creatures, the point of comparison in the miracle mentioned in the verse would not hold.

Nature's Leaps, Not Darwin's Gradualism

Darwin claimed that nature does not make leaps, but the history of life proves exactly the opposite; all major milestones, such as the Devonian nekton revolution, the sudden appearance of insects, and the Abrupt Origin of Genus Homo are sudden leaps with no gradualism. As Harvard scientist Richard Lewontin said: No fossil can be considered a direct ancestor of man, and the ongoing redrawing of the evolutionary tree has no significant scientific value; rather, it is a deception of the public.
