The Uniqueness of Islam's Pure Monotheism in the Face of Contemporary Beliefs

Whoever contemplates the contemporary landscape of religions and beliefs clearly perceives an evident truth: Islam is the sole religion that has preserved the purity of Monotheism and the integrity of creed from the taints of polytheism and paganism. All other religions, following the cessation of revelation and the passing of their prophets, were subjected to distortions and intermingled with limited human conceptions, until they became far removed from their celestial origins.
Say, 'Then bring a scripture from Allah which is more guiding than either of them that I may follow it, if you should be truthful.'
(Surah Al-Qasas: 49)
It is astonishing that man would abandon the worship of the One Creator to cast himself into the arms of a nihilistic atheism—which claims that deaf nature or blind chance brought forth this exquisite universe—or descend to the level of worshipping idols and icons that possess for themselves neither benefit nor harm. The world today stands before two choices with no third: either the light of Tawhid embodied in Islam, or the darkness of polytheism and atheism, both of which lack any sound rational or textual foundation.
