The Deception of Liberation: A Reading of Arwa Salih's Confessions on the Exploitation of Women

In a critical review of the intellectual paths that claimed to liberate women, we find shocking testimonies from within those very movements. Perhaps the most prominent is what the leftist activist Arwa Salih wrote in her book (The Premature Ones), where she revealed the dark side of so-called liberated love.
The liberation of women is the cheapest way to obtain them! Liberated love is cheap love... you get a date with one of the enlightenment intellectuals at a downtown cafe, costing nothing more than a cup of bitter tea and lengthy praise for your liberated mindset, and then the stallion gets what he wants. It is the cheapest sale of the body!

This testimony reflects a bitter reality: that enlightenment slogans and radical feminism, in many contexts, were nothing but a cover to facilitate the exploitation of women and render them a free commodity for the satisfaction of instincts, far from the fortress of Sharia and the dignity of the 'Solemn Covenant' that preserves a woman's rights and status.
