The Inferiority of Women in Materialist Philosophy: A Reading of the Atheistic Framework

Materialist philosophy and the atheistic perspective present profound ethical and social dilemmas, perhaps most notably the inferior view of women founded upon concepts of purely material evolution. While contemporary atheism claims to champion human rights, the texts of its historical icons reveal a starkly different vision.
Women in the Balance of Atheist Icons
In his famous book "The Descent of Man," Charles Darwin expressed a discriminatory view toward women, clearly stating that:
The male is ultimately superior to the female, being intellectually higher in all fields.
This matter was not confined to Darwin but extended to contemporary evolutionary scientists. The renowned evolutionary atheist Stephen Jay Gould cited views suggesting that women, from an evolutionary standpoint, are closer to lower beings compared to men, noting that the issue of female inferiority was considered an axiom in materialist thought, with debate limited only to determining the degree of this inferiority.
Between Materialism and Divine Honoring
This materialist vision restricts human value to biological efficiency and physical strength, rendering women, in their eyes, merely lower beings on the evolutionary tree. In contrast, we find that Islam has honored women with an intrinsic dignity stemming from being a soul breathed from the Spirit of God, elevating her status and granting her full rights, far removed from the illusory evolutionary struggles that reduce a human being to a mere animal in constant conflict.
