The Peril of Energy Healing Courses to Islamic Creed and Identity

The sudden behavioral shifts in some observant men and women after engaging in so-called "Energy Healing" courses raise profound questions about the nature of these practices. What drives a woman to abandon her hijab, or an ambitious da'iyah to retreat into narrow self-interest after attending courses by individuals such as Ahmed Emara?
The truth that must be realized is that these courses systematically and subtly erode faith within the heart. These promoters work to diminish the reverence for the Prophetic Sunnah in souls, shaking confidence in the noble Hadiths and the jurisprudence of the Pious Predecessors (Salaf), leading to explicit attacks on the Imams of Hadith, such as Imam al-Bukhari.
They present distorted religious concepts aimed essentially at destroying pure creed and replacing it with false perceptions. A follower of these paths may experience a form of diabolical assistance that manifests as a temporary improvement in physical pain or a fleeting relief from depression, which is a confirmation of the Almighty's saying:
His power is only over those who take him as a patron
(Surah An-Nahl: Verse 100)
This outward improvement is nothing but a heavy price paid from one's religion and hereafter in exchange for a transient worldly gain. Therefore, one must beware of energy healing claims; they are, in reality, charlatanism and atheism cloaked in the mantle of religion.
