An observer of the global political scene notes that the British Prime Minister finds no embarrassment in practicing his Hindu rituals within the government headquarters at '10 Downing Street,' where he wears the 'Kalava' on his right hand—an amulet containing knots believed by adherents to protect them from evil according to the Hindu worldview.
The world generally respects those who preserve their traditions and identity, yet a strange paradox emerges when contemplating the state of Arab secularists in our Islamic world. These individuals practice systematic mockery of the Muslim who adheres to his pure monotheistic faith; a religion that connects the servant directly to his Creator, without attachment to mortals, seeking refuge from demons, or placing knots on the wrist in hopes of averting harm or bringing luck.
Nevertheless, we find the Arab secularist mocking every pure ritual in Islam; targeting the Hijab, moral values, and Prophetic guidance, with their transgressions extending to include Muslim scholars and the callers to this great religion.
We are facing a group exceptional in its hostility toward its own nation and its war against its own culture, even wishing misfortune upon those who hold fast to their faith—a strange phenomenon for which we find almost no parallel in other societies that respect their heritage and take pride in their identity.
