The Virtue of Prescribed Remembrances After Prayer and Their Impact on the Forgiveness of Sins

Indeed, among the immense favors of Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, upon His servants is that He has prescribed for them simple deeds that result in great rewards and the erasure of major sins and transgressions. Among these are the supplications (adhkar) established by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to be recited after the prescribed prayers.
It was reported in Sahih Muslim that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Whoever glorifies Allah (says Subhan Allah) thirty-three times after every prayer, praises Allah (says Al-Hamdu lillah) thirty-three times, and declares His greatness (says Allahu Akbar) thirty-three times—that is ninety-nine—and says, to complete the hundred: 'There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; to Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs praise, and He is over all things powerful,' his sins will be forgiven even if they were like the foam of the sea.
This noble Hadith places before us a treasure from the treasures of the Prophetic Sunnah, guiding us to persevere in this comprehensive remembrance that combines glorification, praise, magnification, and monotheism, serving as a means to purify the soul from sins and transgressions, no matter how numerous they may be.
