I, Dr. Haitham Talaat, a medical doctor registered with the Egyptian Medical Syndicate, hereby declare my total disavowal of the Syndicate's honoring of the journalist Ibrahim Issa. This recognition represents a stain on the Syndicate's reputation and its entire professional history, given this individual's explicit hostility toward the constants of religion and the sanctities of the Ummah.
Ibrahim Issa has spared no means to dismantle religion and cast doubt on its foundations. He has consistently hosted atheists to shake the faith of Muslims and spread hatred and animosity toward everything related to this nation. These are not mere accusations, but documented facts found in the titles of his programs and published clips, including:
Attacking the obligation of the Hijab and describing it as a lie.
Denying the miracle of the Mi'raj (Ascension) and the punishment of the grave.
Claiming that fasting Ramadan is optional and that prayer is not binding.
Slandering scholarly icons such as Sheikh Al-Sha'rawi, and historical figures like Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and the noble Companions.
Describing the stories of the Prophets, such as Noah's Ark, as myths, and casting doubt on the pillars of Islam.
He has even reached the point of publicly mocking the phrasing of Quranic verses and explicitly calling for the deconstruction of religious heritage and doubting Revelation. We ask: How can someone who incites against the faith and identity of the Egyptian people be honored instead of being held accountable?
This statement is a record for history and a proclamation of truth against attempts to dilute religion and celebrate those who seek to undermine its pillars. Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
