Glad Tidings of the Spread of Islam: A Reading of Prophetic Promises and Contemporary Realities

Whoever contemplates the texts of the noble Revelation will find definitive prophetic glad tidings confirming that this religion will reach the horizons and settle in every home on the face of the earth. This was foretold by the Prophet ﷺ more than fourteen centuries ago, at a time when the Ummah was in its earliest stages of weakness.
This matter will certainly reach every place touched by the night and day. Allah will not leave a house of mud nor of fur except that He will cause this religion to enter it, by the honor of the honorable or the humiliation of the humiliated—an honor by which Allah dignifies Islam, and a humiliation by which He debases disbelief.
Great portions of this glad tiding were realized with the conquest of Constantinople at the hands of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, and the Ummah still awaits the completion of the promise with the conquest of "Rome" before the Hour, in confirmation of the Almighty's saying:
So never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers.
(Surah Ibrahim: 47)
Islam: The Fastest Growing Religion
The glad tidings were not limited to geographical conquests alone, but included numerical abundance; the Prophet ﷺ informed us that the Ummah of Islam would constitute half of the people of Paradise. Today, we see the evidence of this firsthand; Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world, to the extent that the name Muhammad has become one of the most common names on the European continent, confirming that the victory of Allah is inevitably coming.
