The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ foretold the spread of God's religion to every corner of the earth, reaching every household before the Hour, in a prophecy that transcends the boundaries of time and space to affirm the truth of his prophethood. It is stated in the Sahih Hadith:
There will not remain upon the face of the earth a house of mud or camel hair but that Allah will cause the word of Islam to enter it.
(Takhrij al-Musnad: 23814, its chain is authentic).
The Glad Tidings of the Conquest of Rome
The tidings were not limited to general expansion but specified precise geographical and historical landmarks, including the conquest of Rome before the Hour. On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked: Which of the two cities will be conquered first, Constantinople or Rome? The Messenger of Allah said: The city of Heraclius will be conquered first: meaning Constantinople.
(Al-Silsila al-Sahiha: 4). Indeed, Constantinople was conquered at the hands of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror eight hundred years after this prophetic tiding, and Rome shall be conquered by the will of Allah, in fulfillment of the promise of Allah and His Messenger, as He said:
So never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers.
[Surah Ibrahim: 47]
Islam: The Fastest Growing Religion
The Prophet ﷺ gave glad tidings that this Ummah would constitute half of the inhabitants of Paradise, saying: I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise. (Sahih al-Bukhari: 6528). The Prophet ﷺ uttered these words while among a few hundred of his companions under harsh conditions; yet today we see Islam leading the global stage as the fastest-growing religion, to the point that the name Muhammad has become the most common name for newborns in many European capitals—serving as a contemporary material witness to the truth of his prophethood.
