Reporting Prohibited Content: A Sharia Obligation and the Removal of Digital Harm

Reporting digital content that violates Islamic principles—whether it involves the destruction of creedal foundations, mockery of religious rites, or the promotion of vice and immorality—is considered a fundamental pillar of denouncing evil (Inkar al-Munkar) which the Wise Legislator has mandated upon every Muslim man and woman according to their ability and capacity.
The impact of this action is not limited to the devotional aspect alone; rather, it is in reality a form of removing harm from the path of Muslims; for purifying the public sphere from intellectual and moral corruptors protects society from value degradation.
Indeed, the very excellence of this Ummah and its preference over all other nations is linked to this great gate, as stated in the Holy Qur'an:
{You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong}
[Surah Al-Imran: 110]
Therefore, sensing responsibility toward what is published, and taking the initiative to restrict the spread of falsehood through available means, is an act of compliance with the Divine command and a preservation of the integrity of Islam in the era of digital trials.
