An observer of the contemporary intellectual arena notices a shift in the expressive patterns adopted by the atheistic movement; a new version has recently emerged that does not explicitly disclose its atheistic identity, but rather adopts the critique of religious institutions and the clergy as a cover.
This path aims to destabilize fundamentals by attacking the carriers of the Sharia, claiming that their problem lies in the human understanding of religion rather than the origin of religion itself, while the truth lies in escaping the requirements of faith.
And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Shall we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.
Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 13.
Thus, the Holy Qur'an remains a revealer of the human soul in its fluctuations, demonstrating that arrogance against the truth is often cloaked in the mantle of intellectual superiority or the claim of distinction from the masses—a phenomenon we see repeated today in various forms.
