Ritualistic Islam and Secular Hermeneutics: A Reading of Contemporary Westernization Contexts

The state of distress shown by some regarding the postponement of the film "The Atheist" reveals, in its essence, the nature of the religious model that certain entities seek to promote and impose on the collective consciousness. This model does not aim to support the truths of faith, but rather seeks to formulate what might be called "Ritualistic Islam" or "Buddhist Islam".
This pattern of religiosity is intended to be merely isolated spiritual practices, in which rituals are transformed into "folklore" practiced in narrow corners, far from formulating a way of life or influencing social, political, and moral reality. The ultimate goal is to exclude Sharia from the joints of life, and to replace it with "secular hermeneutics" as an alternative supreme reference that interprets existence and manages human affairs.
We are facing a serious attempt to redefine religion to become a mere subjective emotional experience that does not exceed the walls of temples, while secularism remains the actual driver of society—which contradicts the comprehensiveness of Islam and its dominance over all affairs of life.
